From overwhelmed to empowered: Our Kiwipolis journey
Why we love Kiwipolis: A homeschooling parent’s perspective
Dominic and I decided to homeschool even before our eldest was ready for kindergarten. Back then, there was only one reason: we just wanted to spend more time with our kids. No big philosophy behind it, just a simple “Hey, this sounds fun!”
Of course, it hasn’t always been “fun.” There were times I looked more like a zombie than a mom. I remember one activity where I ended up falling asleep on a chair, worn out from a migraine, just relieved that other parents were around to keep an eye on my kids. Over time, the government requirements have also gotten tougher.
And through all that, despite the challenges, I don’t regret a thing. Absolutely nothing!
Well… except for one thing: I regret not creating Kiwipolis sooner. Dominic and I spent countless hours talking about it. Kiwipolis came out of our own challenges—the fatigue, the overwhelm, the endless hours searching, organizing, and turning our daily lives into formal documentation to meet requirements.
Kiwipolis is what I would’ve wanted to create activities tailored to our kids—often more fitting than what I could find elsewhere—and to have real support for tracking their progress and generating all the documents we need, not just for the legal side of things, but also for us. To be able to see everything we’re doing and say, “Actually, I’m not such a bad homeschooling parent!”
Try Kiwipolis; it’s free! See how this platform can really make a difference. We’re here for you to be your “I fell asleep but felt relieved knowing Kiwipolis would handle it.”
